Featuring the acting talents of local area youth, our third production of the season is a rip-roaring spoof of the Old West. At the Trail Dust Hotel, the villainous Whip Lash, his partner-in-crime Pearl of Pecos and their gang of not-too-bright hooligans plot their nefarious schemes against the citizens of the town – everything from cattle rustling and loan sharking to crooked gambling. Determined to clean up the town, newspaper editor Sally Sutton calls in honest young lawman Johnny Wright, the fastest gun in the west, to be the new sheriff. Meanwhile, there’s a dispute over ownership of a copper mine, a diamond goes missing, and The Durango Kid – the meanest, nastiest hired gun in the west – is coming to town!
